Viral exposure

From the moment we are conceived the journey of life begins where we encounter countless challenges as we grow.  During each stage of our development, we are exposed to viruses which may create symptoms some minor and some more serious. Exposure to a virus come through with an exchange of liquid such as saliva or blood or a by product from an evasive bacterium.  All viruses try to confuse the normal operation of your body.  If it can, you develop a disease, with symptoms such as skin irritations, fever, weakened immune system, breathing problems, the list goes on and on.  With day to day living, international travel and jet lag, unbalanced dietary intake and stress we all have the potential of acquiring viruses which may or may not hurt us.

How many viruses are there?

Each one of us has either developed or know someone who has developed chicken pox, measles, influenza, mumps, or cold soars (herpes simplex).  We may even have friends or family with the more virulent ones suck as, HIV, Hepatitis A, B or C, Ebola or SARS.  There are  200+ human viruses identified to-date but at least 320,000 mammalian viruses yet to be discovered.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

This new animal to human virus discovery has created international panic even though it’s symptoms and resolution time are similar to the influenza virus which infects millions annually.

Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death.

Just like 640,000 deaths associated with influenza, individuals/patients dying from this infection may already be suffering from ongoing health concerns and weakened immunity?

Healthy Immune system

If your immune system is strong and healthy you should be able to address all of natures viral challenges which you encounter.  Minor short-term symptoms may occur such a fever, sniffles, soar throat or headache which result from your bodies defense system doing its job.
